Just my corner of the internet

Call me Emilia, or Emi if y'like! Basically I'm a student who lives on feels and fiction, reads comics, books, etc. I roleplay and sometimes I like to pretend that I can actually write. Way too often I cry because Tony Stark and/or Bruce Banner. Or just the Avengers in general, tbh. Marvel. It all makes me cry.

This image of pipes in a ‘Jefferies Tube’ (taken from a DS9 episode featuring the original Enterprise) features the acronym GNDN, printed on the pipes on the bottom left.
GNDN was deliberately put on the pipes by the props department and stood for ‘Goes Nowhere, Does Nothing.’
It’s far too small to read on a TV screen, until modern TV and DVD made a whole range of Easter eggs available.
My point is this: how awesome would it be to work on a TV show props department? Wouldn’t that be the best job? So much fun.

Two ancient Mayan cities discovered in southern Mexico using aerial photographs, local knowledge, and computer models. Unknown why the cities were abandoned, but researchers speculate loss of resources like food and water supplies, changes to climate, invasion, and/or disease.
